Formed 1980 in Sheffield England
Amid the fashion conscious music scene of post-punk England ABC
matched luxuriant pop writing with its wardrobe crafting one bona

rock then back to campy pop then over to dance. The band's career
has been in limbo since its stylish frontman and mainstay Martin
Fry was diagnosed with Hodgkin's disease in 1987.
